On occasion it is difficult not to brag about life in San Diego. This past Thanksgiving saw crystal clear skies and 80 degree temps. It was a good opportunity to avoid some hectic holiday air travel and stay local for the holiday. I hosted some great friends at my place and pseudo prepared dinner with no fires or fatalities. By pseudo prepared, I mean I got a half cooked Turkey from Whole Foods and finished the rest. Except for the cookies, which I turned into hockey pucks by moving the oven rack too low. Rookie mistake!
The next day I skipped the mall with Doro and hit the totally uncrowded beach at Coronado for a lovely walk. The water was even swim able.
